Suggested Topics for Discussion with Student Friendly Exhibitors

Student Friendly Exhibitors realize that today's students have the potential to become the talented future workers the industry needs and that many will eventually be customers. It is important that your students take an active role in interfacing with the Student Friendly Exhibitors.

Take the time to prepare your students with questions or topics they should discuss. Suggestions are:

  • Entry-level skill requirements.
  • Education and training necessary for advancement.
  • On the job training and apprenticeships.
  • What skills are required for advancement.
  • How principles learned in education are applied on the job.
  • Recent advancements in the company's product or service.
  • Manufacturing jobs and skills involved in the development of new technologies.
  • Technologies that differentiate the company from their competition.
  • Real-life business or technical applications that give an overview or feel of the work performed in different job classifications.
