Be inspired and share your passion for advanced manufacturing by looking for the IMTS 2018 balloon in races across the nation. The third edition of the IMTS balloon won its first race of the year, the 2018 Great Balloon Charity Race, which is the first event for the Kentucky Derby Festival's Great Balloon Fest. It was piloted by Patrick Fogue and featured Louisville celebrity co-pilot Henry Wesley, who is a chef at Village Anchor.

At IMTS 2018, visitors will encounter the vibrant neon green and royal blue-ribbon striated balloon at the entrance to the Grand Concourse at McCormick Place. The iconic mascot of the Show since 2004, the IMTS balloon honors the rich heritage of American manufacturing and represents the innovation and enthusiasm of IMTS, held every two years in September.
